I remember when I was growing up , I used to hear a little lebanese girl named Remee Bandalee sing for Lebanon " Give us childhood, give us peace"

love and peace - how appropriate that you remind us of this childhood song - "Atouna el toufouli". Yes, I recal Remee Bandalee very well, and how she sang that song in 3 languages at barely 4 yrs old.

My favourite part was how she began with the English portion:
“I am a child, with something to say, please listen to me…”

Some 20 years later and here we are - the children of yesterday. Will there always be a Remee singing the same tune?
